Prelim Task Drafts 1.

Here are two draft examples for my school magazine being a front cover page and a contents page. However the front cover draft would be slightly changed as the main heading would be down scaled also the logo being the clock would be moved up slightly. Also the three insert images would be moved to the bottom making some sort of cross banner as more focus would be aimed at the main image.

Analysis 2 - Contents Page.

Here is a contents page for the magazine Vogue, the house style for this particular magazine is very clear and fresh as the background colour is plain white, also the body text is very simple as it looks to be a font similar to 'Veranda'. However the main heading has more of a twist to it as it is more of a serif font, but yet it is still simple and clear as the chosen house style colour is bold and black. There is also insert images indicating what will be inside the magazine engaging the target audience. Overall the contents page has been kept to a low key as Vogue magazine is more classy and mature therefore it reflects on the target aududience.

Research 2 - Front cover.

This existing magazine ‘FFH’ is presented  to look very professional as the magazine looks to be targeted at a young audience between 11-17, this is due to the house style that has been chosen as it is consistent throughout the hole layout as the front cover for example  is presented  with two colours such as red and white also the text is presented with the same colour scheme. As this is a school magazine it is most important to be represented friendly and welcoming so from having a low angled shot of school children playing basketball with a bright light from the sun all combines that friendly atmosphere towards the audience.

Research 1 - Front Cover.

These existing school magazines are professional and clear. They are both targeted at the same audience being school children, however the targeted audience is not just one age range it has a wider range to all children. You can see this due to the conventions such as the format and layout of each magazine e.g. The house style is colourful but yet professional it does not just aim at young children by having extreme bright colours it has been designed with class but with a twist of a fun vibe.
